In today’s society, it seems that everyone is looking for immediate gratification and “quick fixes”. That would be really nice if were realistic, but the truth of the matter is that anything worthwhile takes time and effort. Whether you are trying to increase your total, make a World Team or even just to succeed in your job or relationship, it is a Process that gets you to your goal. And the Process can be long and arduous. The key is to understand this and to actually Embrace the Process. One of my favorite words is KAIZEN. By definition, it is a Japanese word that means “change for better” and that the change is a slow, one step at a time process that results in long term success.
