Throwback Thursday: 1979 USSR Spartakiade Championships

1979 USSR Spartakiade: This was found in another Strength and Health Magazine from back in the day. They said “Spartakiadeually saw some of this meet on TV! Not sure how I came across it, but I remember that the announcers called it “Sparticade”. They said “Spartakiade” was too hard to pronounce, but I thought it was an awesome name!
