For those of you out there trying to be perfect, guess what? It probably ain’t gonna happen. Whether its trying to perfect technique of your lifts or any other performance endeavor, what is actually perfection anyway?? Everyone is built differently, have different skill sets and different mindsets. So to even define perfection is pretty much “out there” anyway. But, whatever your definition of perfection is, keep going after it! Not positive who first coined the phrase, but I believe it was one of my favorite all time winning coaches, Vince Lombardi who said “Strive for Perfection, Achieve Excellence”. If you keep pushing to make your endeavors as perfect as possible, you will still achieve Excellence! Are you doing that on a day in, day out basis??
