Tottenism Tuesday: Value Your Ignorance

I read a great article by Alan Alda in AARP magazine (OK, now I’m really showing my age, right?) But, seriously, always looking for great information by respected individuals no matter where the source. Alan Alda was one of my all-time favorite characters on “M.A.S.H.” and is an outstanding actor as well as humanitarian. He made some great points in his article but the thing that jumped out to me was when he said that we don’t value our ignorance enough. Ignorance is good, as long as it is combined with curiosity. Curiosity leads to looking for answers and not just opinions. Science is the answer and is not just another opinion. Science helps us make informed choices. So, a little bit of ignorance can go a long way to self- improvement!
