OK, here I go again, stealing something I saw on social media somewhere. But this one hit home for me. We all work hard to be the very best we can be and we give it all we’ve got. Sometimes we are appreciated, sometimes we are ignored, sometimes we are taken for granted what we do. If we are doing the right things for the right reasons, whether we are appreciated or not, that is good enough. But don’t expect to necessarily get praised for what you do or even acknowledged for what you do, because not everyone that you are working with understand the passion and dedication with which you are functioning at all times. Not everyone has a heart like you and, as I always like to say, you can’t teach heart. Continue to do what you do and the self-satisfaction you get out of the process will help continue on that path.
